Tim Wade is an award-winning writer and director with over 25 years experience in live theater, film and video, theme park attractions, trade shows and conventions and special events.

Tim launched his career early in life when he wrote, directed, edited and starred in his first film at the tender age of 11. The 12-minute comedic gangster movie (rated "C": no adults admitted without a child) not only got press in the San Diego Union Tribune, it won honors in the national Kodak Young Filmmakers Contest. Not one to rest on his laurels, Tim directed his first professional stage production at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego while still in High School, as well as directing a local comedy troupe and studying cirque arts and mime with Bob Yerkes, Richmond Shepard, Hovey Burgess, and many others.

Eschewing the many pleasures of college dorm life, Tim immediately jumped into performing with the highly respected Lamb’s Players Theater in San Diego. During his tenure there, he became their youngest director and garnered several awards for the national touring company that he helmed.

In 1980, Tim joined the renowned SAK Entertainment Company. While with SAK, he wrote and directed audience participation comedy shows for the Italy Pavilion and Futureworld at Epcot Center as well as numerous convention shows and entertainment for the Disney Cruise Line.

Moving to Los Angeles in 1986, Tim formed B & T Productions, writing and producing tailor-made shows for the Walt Disney Company, Disneyland, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, NAPTE, and other corporate clients.

In the years prior to launching Hartigan Wade in 1996, Tim was a founding member of the award-winning Theater 6470, directed the House Full of Honkeys improv troupe with Wayne Brady and Fred Willard, held a development deal with Aaron Spelling Productions, and studied acting with the late Roy London.

Tim's feels privileged to have been gainfully employed solely in the entertainment industry for the last 25 years and that his extremely diverse entertainment background allows him to bring a variety of insights to any project. His proudest achievement, however, is his long marriage and brand-new daughter, Kelsey.
